Fashion Designer Shelley Klassen, founder of Blushing Designs Inc., opened her store Blushing Boutique in 2007 that would house both the retail boutique and the design studio. Shelley Klassen, the brand, and fashion label has since grown and has established itself in the Canadian fashion scene as a go-to for dresses and beautifully tailored clothing for women.

The natural progression for the designer label now is to make the brand name change from Blushing Boutique to Shelley Klassen. Most clients agree that when they think of what they buy from Blushing Boutique, it is Shelley Klassen. The designer is the brand.  Klassen says that “I love my clients and I love Vancouver, I want to expose my label to a global audience, and this feels like it’s the right time.”

Based in Vancouver the fashion designer loves vibrant colors, textured fabrics, and perfected silhouettes.  Resulting in unique clothing for women who value quality, embrace femininity, and desire a functional wardrobe.
